I was tasked with creating the brand identity for Furnace Creek Hot Sauce. The company is based in San Diego, California, and needed a
logo as well as branding for their signature Buffalo Blaze hot sauce.

For the logo, I stylized a chili pepper to look like a palm tree.
The logomark has wavy edges to resemble the heat of the sauce.
The wordmark also has rough edges to unify with the mark.

My vision for the hot sauce bottle label and sauce packet was to create packaging with a unique and inviting appearance. I used bold and expressive typography and paired it with a lively graphic of a buffalo licking its lips to show how good the sauce is. I also added texture to
the packaging for added visual interest.
